PBG

These vases, made in China are approximately 155mm (6") tall. The bases are round and have small evenly spaced bubbles coming up from the base in a very slight spiral, although some are almost vertical. The bottom of the bases are slightly concave, with a rough finish and circular depressions in the centre and crease marks around, suggesting they have been blown into a mould. (see close-ups below). The stems are clear and have a medium flare being approximately 17mm (6/10th ") in diameter. The labels are round with a black background, with the words "PBG MADE IN CHINA" in metaliic gold lettering. There is a stylised flower above the letter B. (see close up image).

I have not been able to find out much about PBG, but I am now wondering whether it could stand for Plum Blossom Glass. The following link shows an article about the company and if you notice the stylised flower logo is very similar. http://www.glass.co.nz/Chinese.html
